What is Lemon Pepper Seasoning?
Lemon pepper is a seasoning commonly sold in the United States and some parts of America, but its homemade preparation consists of grinding or crushing lemon zest (yellow lemon is more common in the U.S.) with peppercorns so that the lemon oil infuses into the pepper.
It is then left to dry or dried in an oven.
Smaller quantities of ingredients like onion, garlic, cayenne, salt, or other spices can also be added.
