What is Lemon Pepper Seasoning? Lemon Pepper Sauce.
Lemon pepper is a seasoning commonly sold in the United States and some parts of America. Its homemade preparation involves grinding or crushing lemon peel (in the U.S., yellow lemons are more common) with peppercorns, allowing the lemon oil to infuse into the pepper. It is then left to dry or dried in the oven.
Additional ingredients such as onion, garlic, cayenne, salt, or other spices can also be added in smaller quantities.
