INGREDIENTS
- 9 oz (250g) Frozen popcorn chicken
- 1 quart (1L) Neutral oil for deep frying (such as canola, vegetable, or peanut oil)
- 2 tbsp (20g) Mr. Wings® Fuego Seasoning
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat the Oil
- Preheat oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to 350°F (175°C).
Fry the Chicken
- Carefully place frozen popcorn chicken into the hot oil.
- Deep-fry for 4 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate or wire rack.
Toss & Serve
- While still piping hot, transfer the popcorn chicken to a mixing bowl.
- Sprinkle generously with Mr. Wings® Fuego Seasoning and toss until every piece is coated.
SERVING SUGGESTION
Serve warm in an enamelware snack bowl (plato botanero de peltre) alongside fresh carrot and celery sticks or a crisp side salad.
